Fleet and Design:

Azamara operates a fleet of four identical, elegantly appointed, mid-sized ships, each accommodating a maximum of approximately 700 guests:

These ships, originally built as R-Class vessels, have undergone extensive refurbishments to reflect a boutique hotel ambiance. Their smaller size is a key advantage, enabling them to dock closer to city centers and access ports inaccessible to larger cruise ships, thereby maximizing time ashore.

Azamara offers an impressive global reach with diverse and often port-intensive itineraries across all seven continents. For the 2025 and 2026 seasons, key destinations include:

Europe: Extensive coverage of the Mediterranean (Greek Isles, Italy, France, Spain, Croatia, Turkey), Northern Europe (Norwegian Fjords, British Isles, Baltic Sea), and Transatlantic crossings. Azamara is particularly known for Country-Intensive voyages, allowing guests to deeply explore a single country or region.
Caribbean: Including popular islands and less-visited gems.
South America: Exploring vibrant cities and natural wonders, including itineraries that may link with pre/post-cruise land programs to places like Iguazu Falls.
Africa & Middle East: Voyages to South Africa, the Red Sea, and the Arabian Gulf.
Asia & Australia/New Zealand: Cultural and scenic journeys across the Far East and Oceania.
Expedition & Unique Voyages: Including itineraries to Antarctica, the Arctic, and special sailings designed around world events like the Monte Carlo Grand Prix or Rio Carnival.

A hallmark of Azamara's itineraries is the high number of late-night stays and overnights in port, providing guests with ample opportunity to experience local nightlife, dine ashore, and participate in evening excursions.

Onboard Experience & Inclusions:

The onboard experience is characterized by warm, attentive service from a dedicated crew (with a high staff-to-guest ratio) and a relaxed, club-like atmosphere. There are no formal nights, and the dress code is "resort casual" or "smart casual."

Azamara provides a highly inclusive experience, with many amenities covered in the cruise fare:

Dining: Full-board dining in the main dining room (Discoveries Restaurant), buffet (Windows Cafe), and poolside grill (The Patio). Two complimentary specialty restaurants, Aqualina (Italian) and Prime C (steakhouse), are also included for suite guests and available for a nominal fee for other guests. 24-hour room service is standard.
Beverages: Complimentary select standard spirits, international beers, and a changing selection of red, white, rosé, and sparkling wines by the glass throughout the day and night. Non-alcoholic beverages like specialty coffees, teas, and sodas are also included.
